Our highest cabinet job... so far
The floor of that rooftop terrace was a tropical hardwood deck made of Ipe. Compound Design and hotel management agreed that the ideal choice for a covering to allow that utilitarian corner of the rooftop to fade into the background was to continue the Ipe up the face of the counter.
Custom vanity
This design is unique in that the doors are solid maple and CNC machined with facets that slope in towards the center of each door, giving it a three-dimensional look.
Lots of doors
In total, the home required about 30 doors, including five exterior glazed doors.
Nicest ladder in town
Once the finishing touches were finally being put in place at the bar they reached back out to have us build some items; the most interesting of which was a rolling library ladder for their 18 foot tall wall of liquor shelves.

We began developing a relationship with the great people who run Chuco Relic
Aluminum Tree Panels
In February of 2019, we were contacted by Basecom, Inc, a prominent general contracting firm in Fort Worth, Texas. Basecom heard about our capabilities and asked us to come up with a design for their new offices that could be machined into aluminum plate and they wanted it to resemble a tree.
TEDxUTEP Signage
Compound Design & Fabrication was called on by The University of Texas at El Paso to create two sets of logos for their TEDxUTEP event.
El Paso Conference Table
