Compound Design is expanding the team

Compound Design is looking for someone with a broad range of fabrication and finishing experience to join our small but ambitious team of designers and fabricators. We take on a variety of projects so a high degree of creative problem-solving and multitasking are highly valued. In addition to fabricating and finishing projects you will also be asked to process material on the CNC router (no prior experience necessary). This includes loading raw material and unloading/organizing finished parts, operating the machine(s) and labeling parts when necessary.

-Bel Air Middle School exterior facade

-Plaza Hotel decorative moldings & panels

-Hotel Paso Del Norte door moldings

-Prototyping for U.S. Air Force

-Furniture for U.S. Army

-Plexiglass & Aluminum milling for computer cases

-Custom material cutting for sign shops, cabinet and casework shops

-Texas Tech Medical School interior architectural paneling

-450 cutting boards for Jordan Speith non-profit

-Table tops for El Paso Community Foundation

Minimum requirements:

-At least 25 hours of availability per week

-3 years of fabrication experience

-Lift 50lbs

-Familiarity and comfort with power tools
