Our facility has all the standard equipment you’d expect in a carpentry shop with the added capability of a 5 ft. x 10 ft. CNC router. For projects requiring steel fabrication we also have access to a 5 ft. x 10 ft. CNC Plasma Cutter through our on-premises partner Black Knuckle Metals.

We experience excellent results when processing harder alloys such as 6061-T6 on cutting, pocketing and thread milling operations.

Edge finishes speak for themselves when it comes to cast acrylic.

Composite Material

We regularly process fiber cement, ACM, plywood, MDF, hardwood, and the list goes on.

Fiber cement paneling

We were called on by Diversified Interiors of El Paso to process over 65 tons of Equitone® Fiber Cement paneling for new construction of Bel Air Middle School in the Ysleta Independent School District. We delivered finished parts on a just-on-time basis so that the client was free from the burden of storing material on site.

Compound Design is a supplier of acrylic parts for "Spectre" from Singularity Computer. Spectre is the first computer tower to integrate a liquid cooling manifold directly into the case. Operations included two-sided machining, thread-milling, tight tolerance for gasketing.

The Spectre case from Singularity Computers has a handful of parts that are milled from 6061-T6 aluminum. We process these parts, including cutting small threads.

Cabinetry & casework

Local cabinet shops call on us to process their MDF and plywood parts for their commercial and residential projects.

Wood products

The first major job won at Compound Design was to build more than 450 cutting boards for PGA Golfer Jordan Spieth. The Spieth Family Foundation used the boards as a fundraiser during their 2017 Spieth Shootout. Since that time, we have been honored to produce signage, tap handles, countertops, tables and more.
